Cheryl Cran, CSP Inducted to The Canadian Speakers Hall of Fame
Winnipeg, MB December 4th, 2012 – In a ceremony on December 4th at the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS) National Convention, Cheryl Cran, CSP was named as the 2012 inductee to the Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame recognizes speakers both for their excellence as professional speakers and for their contribution to the profession. Cheryl Cran becomes the 26th inductee into the Hall of Fame which was established to recognize outstanding excellence as a professional speaker and dedication to the professional speaking industry by educating others to excel. Members are selected by their peers in recognition of their contributions. In her 17 years as the Founder and CEO of Synthesis at Work Inc (a leadership consulting firm), Cheryl has established an international reputation as a Keynote speaker,consultant, and trainer helping organizations transform their business with leadership strategies that get results. Cheryl helps leaders to develop their skills and grow that in turn helps the business to grow, while increasing retention and employee happiness.
Cheryl says,

Cheryl joined the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers in 1996 and since then has served at all levels in her local Vancouver Chapter, was National President in 2006 and in 2012 she continues to serve the speaking profession in her role as the President of the Global Speakers Federation.
Colleen Francis of the Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame noted: “The Hall of Fame serves to provide recognition to those professional speakers who have demonstrated excellence in speaking and their impact to clients and the speaking profession. Inductees provide leadership for CAPS members on building their own businesses and serving their clients and community.”
